Upon graduation from Bob Jones University, while working as youth directors in their local church, Bob and Joyce became aware of the need and opportunity to train their young people in christian service.
They began to take members of the youth group on short term missionary trips.
As a result MTT Ministries was founded in 1998. MTT stands for “Make a Timothy Today”.
The ministry has taken short term missionary teams to 13 foreign countries, and has seen numerous young people surrender for missionary service.

 

OUR MISSION:
The goal of MTT Ministries is to give leadership training through short-term mission trips to help independent, fundamental, Bible-believing churches produce Christ-centered young people and adults with a servant’s heart.

 

OUR PURPOSE:

• To glorify God through missions.
• To recruit and train young people and adults for short term mission teams in the U.S. and abroad. (from age 15 up)
• To give young people and adults hands-on opportunities and experience on the mission field.
• To encourage young people toward full-time Christian service.
• To encourage pastors and missionaries.
• To plant the seed of the Word of God in those who need Christ all over the world.
• To see churches planted at home and abroad as a result of these mission trips.
